Our Baby Shower Idea for May is "Memories Baby Shower "

As the baby shower host, you can personalise this idea to suit the party. Apart from the regular gifts for a baby shower, you can ask the guests to create a keepsake for the new baby using current information from the year that the baby will be born. Each guest can create a scrapbook page (or two) or small booklet for baby. These can include photos, comments (where the guests live, hobbies, news paper clipings, magazine extracts... the ideas are endless!

Guests can also bring things to create a time capsule for baby. Best to leave some space in the capsule so a few things can be added after the child is born (a newspaper from the date of birth, for example). These gifts are sure to be treasured in years to come!

During the baby shower party these keepsakes can be passed around and handed to the new parents at the end. If it is not large baby shower, it is a good ideas for all the guests to make one together during the party. Just ask them to bring something to contribute to the keepsake!
A variation of the really fun idea is for guests to bring a baby photo of themselves. Spread them out and see if everybody can guess who's who! The guest who guess the most right matches is the winner!
