All about Baby Shower Invitations

Baby Shower invitations set the mood for your Baby Shower.

Ideally your invitations should be sent at least 4-6 weeks prior to the shower.

When deciding on your Baby Shower invitations, the main details to think about are the number of guests you are expecting and the theme of your Baby Shower (it is good if your invitations coordinate with the theme of the Baby Shower).
Ensure you keep your guest lists as you will need this for thank you cards after the Baby Shower.
When you have decided on the invitation you want to get, make sure you have the following information clearly laid out in the invitations:
1. Name of Mum-To-Be and host(s)
2. Location
3. Date

What about Thank You Cards?

Thank you cards are a great way to appreciate the guests at a Baby Shower Party. Ensure that the Thank You cards match the invitation cards! Most mums-to-be are naturally too busy at a baby shower having fun to try to remember every item that is given to them and by whom.

 When the mum-to-be is opening the shower presents,  you can have someone or perhaps a co-host  at the party jot reminders on a sheet of paper indicating who gave which gift.

Another idea is to have everyone at the party write their own address on a thank you envelope. You can even make a game out of it (each guest can draw a envelope out a hat - mark one envelope as a door price winner). Both of these ideas make it a lot easier for the mum-to-be when she's writing those important thank-you notes later on.
